Henry makes it over to Slothburger in about ten minutes, and when he spots his dad, he slides into the booth across from him. Folding his hands together, he has a smile on his face, because it kind of helps talking to someone about his crush, and he doesn't see much wrong with it.
"So. The girl I like, her name is Daenerys Targaryen. But I just call her Dany. We're really good friends, she likes me a lot. I mean, I know she's older than me, but I just...really like her."

Sick Mom
It was a cold, rainy Saturday morning, and as Henry shuffled out of bed and tugged on one of his warmer hoodies, a pair of flannel pants and socks, he thought hot cocoa would be really good with breakfast this morning. Looking at the clock, he expected his mom to be already starting on breakfast by now, but as he made his way to the kitchen and realized she wasn't there, he frowned in confusion and concern. Making his way to her bedroom, Henry knocked on her door lightly, waited a second, then opened it.
"Mom?"
"Mom?"

The season of perpetual hope.
Christmas was one of Henry's favorite times of year. They hadn't ever celebrated the religious aspect of the holiday when he'd been growing up, but they did everything else: making cookies, decorating around the house, putting up a tree, giving each other presents. He'd liked that with his mom, and then later, with the rest of his family.
Here in Darrow, he was especially looking forward to sharing that holiday with his dad, his family (including the extended members now) and the friends he'd made. But, he figured that people like Robin and Hook wouldn't really know what to make of it, and he decided to take it upon himself to help them both. Plus, they probably needed a little prompting and help when it came to the gift-giving thing. He knew his moms well, so he was happy to help.
Henry planned to spend this entire weekend devoted to Christmas, which meant getting decorations up, and getting a jumpstart on the shopping. He'd been productive this morning, picking up gifts for some friends and dropping them off at his dad's apartment. Then, he'd let Robin know he was on the way since he'd asked him yesterday if he could stop by. It wasn't a big secret, but he figured it was easier to explain most everything in person, so he'd been succinct on the phone, and just told him he wanted to see him and Roland, and explain all the Christmas stuff that was about to be happening in Darrow.
Knocking on Robin's door, Henry had his backpack on his shoulders, loaded with warm chocolate chip cookies, and in his hands, he was carrying a drink holder with three cups of hot chocolate, for him, Roland, and Robin.

It was getting pretty cold out now, and Henry loved this time of year. Soon it would be Thanksgiving, and then making Christmas cookies, decorating, getting presents for everyone. There were a lot of people he wanted to buy things for this year, so he was being extra careful with his money now, putting it all away and saving up a good chunk of it. He'd splurged a little on Emma for her birthday, but that was acceptable.
Today, though, he was with Regina. They had the whole week together, and he was ahead in his homework for the week ahead, which meant totally relaxing this weekend. He got up early, needing to use the bathroom, and he actually felt pretty rested, and his stomach was growling, so he decided to just stay up and try to cook. He'd made an attempt at pancakes and eggs for Emma's birthday, and didn't do too bad, so he wanted to surprise his mom now when she woke. Looking in the fridge, he grabbed the eggs and milk. Then he got out the waffle iron, thinking he'd try that instead of pancakes. He mixed up the batter first, then scrambled the eggs, pouring them into a skillet and getting some waffle mix poured into the iron. Standing at the skillet, he pushed the eggs around, fluffing them up, plating the waffles as he went. Of course, trying to do both at once, the eggs got crispy on the outside in some spots; not burnt, just not as fluffy as scrambled eggs should be. When it was over, he had a bowl of eggs and six waffles for them. The waffle iron itself was a mess, the batter having run over the edges many times, but he would handle that later.
Then, he got some coffee going in the coffee maker before heading to his mom's room, knocking on her door. "Mom? Wanna eat breakfast?"

Whatever magic had turned Henry into a small child was a bit sloppy; he remembered his family, he knew both his moms, his grandpa, but his memories of being in Darrow for the past month and a half were fuzzy. But he was so young that he didn't question it when his mommy told him they'd just gone on a trip. He'd been worried when his mama wasn't there, too, but it had been explained to him that she was just sleeping, and most of the early part of the day, he was okay with that answer, wanting her to sleep if she needed it.
But after eating lunch and beginning to wake from his afternoon nap, he needed to see his mama with his own eyes, to make sure she really was here, too. Still sleepy, though, his arms were loosely wrapped around Regina's neck, head tucked to her shoulder as they arrived at Emma's apartment. The moment the door opened, though, a sleepy smile appeared on Henry's face, and he was immediately reaching for her: "Mama."

He couldn't even find his stuffed doggy or blanket to cuddle with, so he peeked into the room across from his, relieved that his mommy was right there. She was sleeping, though, so he didn't want to wake her up. Instead, he just climbed up onto the bed, under the blankets, and curled up against her chest, sucking on his thumb until he fell back to sleep.
Mommy would make it better.

Darkness is all he knows, and it's so pervasive that he can almost taste it. The pitch black, the shadows, they taste burnt, and as he breathes them in, they're heavy in his lungs. He can't breathe after a moment, because there's a sharp pain, and then his heart is in his hand. He can see - he remembers - his parents telling him not to do it, but he doesn't listen. They don't know, he can save them all, he can make everything okay now.
He's never been able to make anything okay. Everyone fights around him, there's madness, and at the center of it, he's tried so hard to bring them together. Maybe this is it, this is his chance. He can save them, and they can all go home, and they'll stop fighting.
He pushes his heart into Pan's chest, and then there's nothing.
"Mom!" He gasps, sitting up and breathing heavily, rubbing his hands over his face. He's disoriented for a moment, then he realizes it's the same, all these dreams about Neverland lately. They won't stop.

Henry's Super Powers:
- Henry has the power to create a protective force field/barrier around himself and anyone he might want to protect. The barrier is temporary, and while initially impenetrable, can be breached with enough force, or if he has to use his power for too long and becomes incredibly weakened. Basically, the barriers he can create are formed from energy, so if bullets are flying at him, he can create a temporary force field utilizing the energy around him. He can also use this force field to throw it back at someone, but the biggest limitation is time, as the energy burns out quickly.
- Henry also has the power of empathic healing. He cannot heal physical wounds, but he can help with emotional pain that someone might be experiencing. When he heals someone, he can help them see the brighter side again, and takes away the negative emotion. He cannot, unfortunately, heal physical pain, but if someone is physically injured, his power can at least help to alleviate their fear and distress until their physical injuries are tended to. He does not simply feel the emotional pain or turmoil of everyone around him, but if he has some sort of connection with someone - even if they've just spoken once - and the pain is something loud and heavy in their heart, he can sense this, and help them with it.

- If Henry is with you when there's a threat of imminent harm, he will put up a protective force field to keep your character safe. If you would not want him to do this, please let me know so we can work that out in the course of the thread!
- If your character is experiencing a lot of physical or emotional pain, Henry can help alleviate and take on that pain! However, I won't automatically have him do this or assume anything unless you've given me permission, so please let me know! :D Thank you!

Even though Henry had just seen Emma shortly before arriving in Darrow, he understood now that Emma had been here in the City longer than that, and both of his mothers had been trying to find a way back to him. It was strange, how some kind of magic could pull them here, yet both of them had been with him in Storybrooke, but he knew better than to question magic. Anything was possible.
All that mattered now was they were together. And seeing how awful Regina looked made Henry just as worried about Emma, so he was eager to make sure she was alright. He wondered how things would go, with both of his moms being here, and where he'd live, but he had faith they'd work it out somehow.
He said goodbye to Regina, promising that he'd call her soon, and they'd see each other, but right now, he needed to be with Emma, and as he knocked at her door, a bright smile spread on his face.
"Mom!" He called through the door, hoping she could hear him. And, he just thought it would be nicer than only knocking, and making her wonder who might be at the door.
